WE:
I am Jim Grauel
WHY:
Why have we been hanging out on the boardwalk since 2014?
It started as an annual tradition for my family and I to challenge ourselves to complete The Murph Challenge honoring Lt. Michael Murphy and the many other fallen heroes. Since then, we have raised over $30,000. We continue the tradition each Memorial Day weekend, meeting new friends who like to "hang out" and pull their own weight while on vacation at the Jersey Shore.
Each year the challenge has gotten larger - around 100 athletes each Memorial Day weekend! These athletes, and now friends, would inquire about training on the pier for the rest of the summer. They were sick of running the boardwalk and did not want to drive their car to a gym every day.
We've been gradually expanding the outdoor fitness schedule each year to meet the demand of our islands visitors. Since I love to train outdoors with family and friends all summer long, it only made sense to make it happen.
Why should you consider earning your Wildwood Nights each morning with us?
If you like to get after it outside at the Jersey Shore, join us - you will fit right in.
If you're looking to improve your fitness in our barbell free zone - this is for you.
If you like to train in an air conditioned gym with a towel service - this isn't for you.
The strength and fitness gains you will see on the pier (and beach) all summer will translate into gains on the barbell in the traditional gym and more importantly in our everyday lives.
Our simple, not easy, workouts are for everyone who likes to train outside the box with an open mind.
